The ITA 10th AnniversaryOn the 17th July,’10, The Indian Television Academy celebrated its 10th Anniversary at the J W Marriott Hotel in Juhu, Mumbai. These have been The ITA‘s 10 years with the TV fraternity, where it has served as an umbrella for all the disparate sectors of the industry to come together as one cohesive whole.

ITA’s Ramp – A Rouser for ‘beti’ -- The Indian Television Academy took another step for its movement, ‘beti’ which is a clarion call against Female Foeticide, rampant all across the county, today. It is, indeed, a curse that is playing havoc with the Gender-balance as created by Mother Nature! The ‘beti’ movement is a mission of Anu Ranjan (President, The ITA & Editor, GR8! TV Mag) and Shashi Ranjan (Convenor, The ITA & Publisher, GR8!). This has been appended to their GR8! Women Awards, too and is a constant endeavour to create awareness against the scourge of Female Foeticide.It is in this vein that this Ramp-walk was organised on Saturday, the 1st May, 2010 at the Star Sahara Hotel in suburban Mumbai.

The Indian Television Academy Awards, 2009 – Announced. On the 1st of December, The ITA held its prestigious The Indian Television Academy Awards, ’09 at Bhavan’s Cultural Ground in Andheri. Now in the 9th year of a highly celebrated existence, these Awards, today, are the most coveted stamp of excellence in Television, wherein the entire TV-fraternity participates to make it the annual festival of joy in the world of Television.
