On the 21st March, 2012 at a grandly organised function at the Haryana Raj Bhavan, Chandigarh, the Haryana Government conferred honours upon its distinguished sons of the soil, who have made a mark in life.
At this occasion, Producer, director and Television-Promoter Shashi Ranjan (Convenor, The Indian Television Academy and Publisher, GR8! TV Mag) was singled out for the top honour for his eminent contribution to Art & Culture.
The Award, comprising a Shawl, Sitation and an amount of 1 & a half lakh rupees was presented to him by the Honourable Chief Minister of Haryana, Ch. Bhupinder Singh Hooda in the august presence of various dignitaries of the state.
