It was unfair to see Ketaki – Rasik being voted out in the first round of Nach Bailye 2 itself when they really had put in so much effort to improve in their performances. They accepted the decision very gracefully. While Rasik had to put in extra effort Ketaki doesn’t mind boogeying on the dance floor at private parties. And guess where she has picked up the talent from – her mother Sarita Joshi who has no inhibitions to let her hair down when it comes to enjoying the music. The other day on the sets of Baa, Bahoo aur Baby the otherwise serene Baa suddenly started humming and swaying on the newest item number Beedi Jalai Ley... And she was very much in rhythm swaying to glory enjoying her self.

While on Nach Baliye 2 don’t Gauri Tonk and Shweta Tiwari look hot? While Shweta has put on slight weight at all the right places and is happy about it Gauri Tonk has not only reduced all the post pregnancy fat but is looking slimmer and trimmer than ever before. Even her face glows with a charm. Gauri attributes all that to the disciplined routine to keep herself in control with the right diet and exercise. In fact she looks like a rock star in all those Nach Baliye 2 posters that have been splashed all over. |

We bumped into Rajeev at the Sab office and WOW!!! was he looking cool! The guy has grown out of his chocolate boy image after Left Right Left and was looking stunning in a denim jacket, jeans with cool shades and stubble. It was one day after his birthday and Rajeev was tired but didn’t look so. And no, it was not because of late night partying… the cool dude was busy answering fan calls the entire day on his birthday from 7 in the morning till 9 pm and later spent the evening with his family.
Beaming with confidence once again success sure has put a glow on his face. Keep it up, Rajeev! Our best wishes

Parakh Madan who debuts with Star One’s Saathi Re... has an interesting background. She has graduated as a designer from NIFT and also has a diploma in dance. “There are two gharanas in dance one is the Jaipur gharana based on footwork and the other is the Lucknow gharana which is based on bhaav. I have learnt both. But I was always more interested in the Lucknow gharana as I thought that I could put these skills to use later,” says the debutant who had come in from Delhi to enter a Cover Girl contest and has reached so far. |

Sandiip Sikcand is quite excited. After joining SET as the Chief Creative Director he has been stirring up new shows regularly. After the launch of Kaajal and Bigg Boss he is now gearing up to launch two new shows – Anuj Saxena’s Akhand Saubhagyavati and Viruddh which is Smriti Irani’s joint venture with Applause Entertainment. “Both the two shows are really shaping up well and they are really very different and interesting in content,” says Sandiip as he keeps his fingers crossed for the best. |

The two shows Betiyaan – Apni ya Paraya Dhan and Ghar ki Laxmi – Betiyann have more than the title in common. In fact the actor Manish Raisinghani who plays the role of the ladla beta Nirvaan in Star One’s Betiyaan – Apni ya Paraya Dhan had also auditioned for the role of the ladla beta for Zee TV’s Ghar ki Laxmi – Betiyann and he chose the Star One’s show. The reason being, “Oh there I would be surrounded by 4 girls but here there are 6 sisters and then the maa, bua and all,” he laughs but once on a serious note he says,
“I believed in Rekkha Modi’s storyline as she has the original concept. Secondly, having Partho Mitra as the director makes a world of difference to the project. I think he is God! There is no unnecessary swish, pan, zoom but still he makes it look like a Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam on Television. And lastly it is Sunjoy Wadhwa who has pumped in so much of money so that the serial has good production values.” Manish is sure happy about making the right choice by opting for Star One’s Betiyaan Apni ya Paraya Dhan. |
