Perry makes merryon the ramp!
Feathers, funk and a riot of colours dominated the ramp at this recent hair show. The occasion was the launch of Shiivaz Spa, and if the style and creativity on display was anything to go by, then one should start lining up immediately.
Held at a picturesque terrace garden in SoBo, the elaborate and funky hair dos at the show were crafted by ace hairstylist Perry Patel, who will be heading the salon. International models, looking ethereal in their all white outfits with colourful headgear, walked the ramp, as did many celebrities, as a show of solidarity for peace in Mumbai. The celebrity walk was opened by Manish Malhotra, followed by Sunita Menon, Anu Ranjan, Karishma Tanna, Aarti and Kailash Surendranath, Sandeep Soparkar and Jessie Randhawa.
The do was a close-knit affair with members of the spa such as Lubna Adams, Neerja Shah, Sheeilu Lehar and Asha Patel playing hosts along with Dhharram Pratap, managing director. Others at the party included veteran actress Bindu with her husband, advocate general of Maharashtra Ravi Kadamb, Bisleri owner Ramesh Chauhan, Viren Shah, Kamlesh Hemdev of Ghanasingh, Bijon Dasgupta, Remu and Naaz Zaveri, actor Ashmit Patel, Kiran Jhangiani and Rasna Bhel.
Amidst the breezy Mumbai evening and the classy sit-down dinner, the guests could be seen discussing the unique services being offered at the spa such as perfume alchemy, oriental massages such as Balinese, Shiatsu, Thai and Japanese, ayurvedic treatments, wraps, masks and other signature services.
