Kashmera to feature in Pati, Patni aur Woh 2!!!

ancing has become passé; television celebrity couples are now indulging themselves into testing their parenting skills. Pati Patni Aur Woh has very well succeeded to get into all the possible controversies; From news of spats between the ladies of the show to parents refusing to give their children to Rakhi and Juhi thanks to their inabilities to be good parents. In fact even the inclusion of Rakhi and Elesh was done by throwing out the pair of Raj Singh Arora and his girlfriend who were nearly finalized (a very good decision we would say!). But when the name of Rakhi Sawant gets associated with a reality show, the next name that comes to mind is of Kashmera Shah. Rakhi Sawant and Kashmera Shah have kind of become synonyms to each other and have featured in most of the reality shows together like Bigg Boss, Nach Baliye3, Jalwa 4 2 Ka 1, giving new masala and gossip each time. So when Rakhi and Elesh joined the list of celebrity couples, one very well expected the duo of Kashmera and Krushna to also join the jing bang. But there were hopes of Kashmera- Rakhi gossip this time as well with the production house sidelining the duo. In fact, Kashmera herself was surprised that she wasn’t approached, “No ya, a lot of people kept asking me that why Krushna and I aren’t doing the show? But surprisingly we just haven’t been approached. So then later I went on to take up Iss Jungle Se Mujhe Bachchao.” says Kashmera. Well are the makers listening? They have atleast one couple willingly ready to feature in Pati Patni aur Woh 2!

On the road, with the rules…!

‘Rules are meant to be broken’, so is said. But Bhavan’s College has broken the old myths and cliché idioms and come up with an idiosyncratic theme once again – ‘ON THE ROAD, WITH THE RULES!’ As the name suggests, the theme is all about the street set-up, rules and regulations etc., all related to road. The décor and events are framed in accordance with the theme and the students plan in making things not only bigger and better but THE BEST! Some of the events related to the theme are remote-car racing from the Informals committee, street dance by the Performing Arts committee besides many more!
Just like the last year, this year too, there will be a different Sports committee for all sports lovers besides the usual Literary arts, Performing arts, Fine arts, Informals and Workshops. The fest is a two-day affair, and will take place on the 18th and 19th of December, 2009 excluding the elimination days. Well, we wish all the students a good luck for their GR8! Endeavor

Mayhem grips the house of Perfect Bride, Amrita in fury!!!!..


Ever since petite damsel and Bollywood’s hottie, Amrita Rao set foot in the reality house of Perfect Bride as a mentor there seems to be some or the other controversy following her. First there was an alleged spilt amongst the mentors Amrita and Malaika which wasn’t completely true and then came the false rumours of Amrita being fond of hottie Rajbeer. Now it seems eliminated Gaurav seems to have grown affections for Amrita after hearing that she shed a tear for him when he was eliminated. Amrita states, “Perfect Bride is a great show with a great concept. However I feel more than a mentor, I am the one responsible for many boys being distracted. I shall be meeting the organizers of the show soon to discuss how we can rectify the current scenario. All I have to state is that I do not have a special corner for any of the contestants. I am here to select the most deserving candidate and in my knowledge Gaurav was very much marriage material and gave my fair opinion to Malaika and Shekhar.”

Aman Verma is finally a committed man

man Verma has found his ladylove and the lucky girl is Ankeeta whom he met on the shoot of his serial. She had gone for the audition and landed up a plum role in Aman’s life. Aman owes his calmness and happiness to her. He says, ‘I feel much better as a person, when she is around and the world around me has just got more beautiful because of her presence. Life is beautiful at the moment and I hope it would continue this way for a long time’. Marriage is not on his mind and he is sure that it wouldn’t be in near future. Well we wish this Jodi luck and would be awaiting the wedding bells.

ome few months back the telly land was full of weddings and couples all around. And so were the handsome couple Romit Raj and Shilpa Shinde- the jodi from Zee TV’s popular show Maayka. They denied, they accepted, they were supposed to get married and now they have broken up! The two were supposed to get married on 29th November in the beautiful environs of Goa. But because of some disagreements in the relation, the wedding had to be called off. In an interview to a website, Shilpa spoke openly about what went wrong, mentioning that she had left everything because of the marriage and knew of her responsibility as a girl. She even cancelled in her shootings to give in time for the same and this affected her work which is quite evident as Romit is currently seen hosting Lux Perfect Bride, while Shilpa has almost disappeared from the TV circuit. Though people felt that Shilpa was the dominant one out of the two, Shilpa has a different tale to tell.
Quips Shilpa, “He is very calculative and plans things in advance. I used to tell him that this is not how things work in reality. He once also told me that he wants to marry a Punjabi girl who isn’t from the industry. I made it a point to meet all his relatives but he was never satisfied and expected a lot from me. I was the only one compromising. Thank God for we realized it now. Now when we have split, no one from his family has even bothered to call me. All my wedding preparations and outfits were ready and the cards printed.” Though Romit chose on not divulging a lot about the topic, he confirmed the news.

hat’s exactly what one of the most handsome hunks of Indian television should be echoing! Karan Singh Grover, the most beloved doctor featured ever on our television screens, is receiving lots of flak from the media as well as his own fans lately! Why? Well, romancing 3 different actresses in a film is alright, but doing the same in real life isn’t really taken in a positive light. This Armaan who has been lucky enough to be with 3 different Riddhima’s on screen has maybe taken his show too seriously and tried to transform the same luck in real life too. Karan Singh Grover and Shraddha Nigam had a very quick and quiet marriage, but sadly their divorce isn’t proving to be the same. Karan’s closeness with choreographer Nicole was very evident on Jhalak Dikhla Jaa, but when questioned, Karan would reply, ‘We are Jatts; we are very physical people and love expressing ourselves in the same manner’. Shraddha was also seen supporting her hubby throughout the show, only if she knew that this show would prove to be a catalyst to the end of her love story. Yes, reportedly, Karan got too close to Nicole and was definitely maintaining something more than friendship. But it didn’t end there! It was Shraddha, then Nicole, but maybe Karan still wasn’t satisfied. Grapevine has it that Karan was also very close to his then co-star Jeniffer Winget as well. Jeniffer and Karan have worked together in Kasautii Zindagii Kay, Zara Nachke Dikha and Dill Mill Gayye! According to our sources, Jeniffer was made to believe that Karan would be seeking divorce from Shraddha sooner or later, but she had no idea of the Nicole angle and once the news got to Jeniffer’s ears, it led to Karan receiving a slap from her! Where one side Jeniffer and Karan are not looking in eye-to-eye, heartbroken Shraddha has filed a divorce against Karan and apparently Karan is living in with Nicole currently! Well, all we can say is, ‘Bachna Ae Haseeno, Karan aa gaya!’

es, this is what the entire crew of Hats Off Production is saying. It so happened that J.D. Majethia’s gold bracelet was missing and even after a lot of hunting it was not traced anywhere. Losing all hopes J.D. continued with his shooting but unable to deliver dialogues, his lines were given to other actor. He considered it very Lucky and that’s why was all the more disheartened. But if luck happens to be with you, than even the most impossible things can occur. This is what happened with J.D. and luckily he got back his bracelet. He was so happy that he announced in the middle of the shoot that he is thankful to everyone thus would also like to give a treat. And in no time Ras Malai was bought and distributed to one and all present there. He declared that hence forth if anyone’s valuable thing is lost and if he happens to get it back than he will have to give a treat and if he is a crew member who can’t afford than the production house will pay for him. Well, there is no Production House like this and all associated with them are Lucky. We wish J.D.Majethia luck and hope it always stays with him.

Fashion Designer bana villain!
Notorious for his character of Rajeev Bhalla on Zee TV’s 12/24 Karol Bagh, Indresh Mallik has received rave reviews for his performance and character. Thus one day, when the actor visited the Jhandewala temple in Delhi with his wife, passers-by threw dirty and mean glances for the person he is in the show. Indresh, who is shown as one addicted to all the bad habits, was avoided by those around and his wife was even enquired as to how she manages to stay with such a man. Indresh’s wife, who understands that it is only his on-screen character that’s driving in such reactions dreads even stepping out of her home. She has also been requesting the production house to change Indresh’s character in a positive way. An unknown fact about Indresh is that he is a fashion designer and had no acting aspirations until he landed with this offer. But if you ask us, well Indresh, if people have started hating you, that’s an appreciation enough!

Mastiii…Nahi padi sasti!

he brilliant stand-up comedian Raju Srivastav seems to be in a trouble. And no, the trouble has nothing to do within the Bigg Boss; neither do any of his Bigg Boss inmates have problems with him. So what is it that has people pointing it out to him? Well, according to reports, Markand Adhikari of Shri Adhikari Brothers (SAB) has alleged that Raju has breached his contract by participating in Bigg Boss 3. Raju was signed as the brand ambassador of his upcoming channel Mastiii. The contract comes into effect from November 2009, according to which he is required to give them 10 full days every month; and there is a no-exit clause for both parties. SAB sent in a notice to both Colors and Endemol, but the two haven’t as yet replied to the notice.
Well, what remains to be seen is if whether Colors or Endemol abide by Raju’s contract and we see him exiting the Bigg Boss house haste-haste or if he continues on making everyone in the house chuckle at his tactics. But for the audience, in any case, it’s a no-loss deal, for Raju will only add up to their laughs!
