Has cupid struck Vikrant Massey and Sriti Jha

Has cupid struck Vikrant Massey and Sriti Jha?

I
f reports are to be believed, the popular young actor Vikrant Massey and the pretty dame Sriti Jha are an item! The two have known each other for long as they starred in Disney channel’s Dhoom Machao Dhoom together earlier. But guess love blossomed as months passed and the two grew up into successful stars. While the duo vehemently rubbish the rumours of their alleged romance, they do accept that they’re “just good friends” who “meet daily”. Hmm… now where have we heard that before?

Wasna shies away from lovemaking scene

Wasna shies away from lovemaking scene

Wasna Ahmed, the lead actress of Zee TV’s Shree, had to go through what most of the newcomers dread – a lovemaking scene (Of course not if only you are the likes of the bold Mallika Sherawat or Emran Hashmi)! The script demanded Wasna and co-star Pankaj Hari to come close and it wasn’t easy for Wasna who is an extremely shy girl. In fact, she was so uncomfortable doing the sequence that the entire unit, barring a few important technicians and director, was asked to leave the sets. The producer JD Majethia had specially come on the sets for getting better shots as this was an important sequence for the show, but Wasna couldn’t shoot even with him around as she was too shy!

When real life becomes reel life

When real life becomes reel life
Any actor plays a whole gamut of characters in his/her lifetime. But there are times when their real lives imitate their reel lives and vice versa. Such is also the case with both the leads of Burey Bhi Hum Bhale Bhi Hum on Star Plus. They had an easy go when their off screen talent came in handy in their on screen roles. Not many people know that actor Ashustosh Kulkarni aka Jay plays exceptional tabla not just on screen but in real life too. And that’s not all for his love interest Parakh Madan (who will soon enter the show) is a trained kathakkali dancer and will extend her flair for dancing from off screen to on screen as well. In fact Parakh, who was last seen in Saathi Re and Monica Mongre Case Files, has been learning classical dance from the past seventeen years!

The new No. 1

The new No. 1

C
olors has finally done it. It has finally beaten Star Plus to become the new No.1 GEC. It is after years and years that Star Plus has been toppled over. But then, Colors prepared the way ever since it launched in July last. And now, after some very close calls in the past, it has finally emerged at the top. But it’s not the only one for in the news category, even Times Now seems to have made inroads where there were none. After being a patient No.3 to CNN-IBN and NDTV 24X7, it has emerged as the market leader under the leadership of Arnab Goswami. Guess nothing does last forever.

Sad as we are to hear that, we wish both these wonderful people success and happiness in their lives.

Who’s the most handsome Sikh on screen?

Who’s the most handsome Sikh on screen?

M
odel-turned-actor Piyush Sachdev. While it may come as a surprise to many, a social networking site actually conducted such a poll, wherein Piyush, who plays the role of Kulwant Singh in Meet Mila De Rabba, was nominated as the most handsome Sikh on screen. Needless to say, this Delhi lad certainly feels flattered. “It’s a great feeling. Earlier when I was asked to wear a turban and all the paraphernalia that makes one look like a typical Sikh, I was quite apprehensive. But later I got used to it and guess I made a pretty good impression of actually being a Sikh, even though I’m a Punjabi!” he says with a laugh.
